Our Content Ethics Statement
How we approach partnerships, sponsorships, and the trust you place in us
Our channel isn't the largest on YouTube by any means, but we deeply value the community that has grown around our family's story — people who share our love of travel, intentional living, and faith-centered family life. That trust isn't something we take lightly.
If we choose to work with a brand, it will always be because we've personally used and evaluated the product or service, and genuinely believe it belongs in a life like ours. We will always make it abundantly clear when content is sponsored. If we don't say a video is sponsored, it isn't. Simple as that.
When we do partner with a brand, they've seen this page. We build relationships over time based on mutual trust and respect — not just a transaction. A sponsor should support and enable what we do, not constrain or control it. Ideally it's a win-win-win: for you, for the brand, and for us. Our channel has never been and never will be an extension of any brand's marketing department.
Most equipment and products we use are purchased by us. Sometimes companies offer items free of charge, and we'll always say so clearly. We never make videos in exchange for free products. Accepting something for free doesn't guarantee a review — or any coverage at all — and we're extremely selective before accepting anything.
A few non-negotiables
- Our content is our own. We create videos based on what we're genuinely excited about and what we think will be meaningful to our audience — not what a brand wants us to say.
- Our opinions are always our own. We come from the perspective of a real family living this life — not journalists or experts — so we have personal experiences, preferences, and faith convictions that shape how we see things.
- Sponsor review is limited. If we work with a brand on a sponsor segment, they may review that segment for factual accuracy — not creative direction — before release. We do not submit full video previews for approval.
- Our calendar belongs to us. No outside party can pay for or otherwise influence scheduling priority.
- We only work with brands we respect — ones that offer quality products and stand behind their customers with real service and support.
- All traffic is organic. We don't purchase ads, views, followers, or subscribers.
- No re-uploading our content. You're welcome to share our videos by linking directly to our YouTube channel. Please don't re-upload them elsewhere.
- No view guarantees. We can't promise any number of views or a specific level of engagement. Everything we do is done with intention, but there are variables beyond anyone's control.
We find it a little funny when brands ask us to make a video "go viral." If we knew how to do that reliably, wouldn't every video already be one?
Brands we've worked with
In the spirit of full transparency, here are brands who have embraced this approach and earned our trust:

This list grows only as we build real relationships — never for novelty's sake.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. We know it doesn't cover every scenario, but we hope it gives you a clear picture of how seriously we take the trust between us, the brands we partner with, and the community we're building together.
Ultimately, we just want to keep making things that matter — and that requires keeping our integrity intact. If you're a fellow creator, please feel free to adapt this statement for your own channel.
