Merry Christmas from Our Family to Yours!

As the Christmas season fills our hearts with joy, we wanted to take a moment to wish you and your family a beautiful and blessed Christmas. This season is full of special moments—twinkling lights, delicious treats, family gatherings, and the joy of giving. But as wonderful as all these things are, we are reminded that Christmas is about so much more than what we see around us.

Christmas is about Jesus.

Over 2,000 years ago, in a humble manger in Bethlehem, the greatest gift the world would ever receive arrived—a Savior. God’s perfect, precious Son came to earth not in grandeur, but in simplicity, to fulfill a promise and rescue a broken world.

The Bible tells us in Luke 2:11:

“ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

What a beautiful, life-changing truth. Jesus, born as a baby, came with a purpose: to live a sinless life, to die a sinner's death in our place, and to rise a victorious King so that we can have eternal hope. His birth brought light into the darkness and peace into a world ruled by oppressive governments.

His light and peace are still available to us today.

Jesus is Emmanuel, “God with us,” and because of Him, we can have hope, peace, joy, and love that no one else can give.

This Christmas, let’s focus our hearts on Him:

  • As we give gifts, let’s remember the greatest gift ever given—Jesus.

  • As we gather with loved ones, let’s thank our Father for the gift of relationships–especially the relationship we can have with his Son, Jesus.

  • As we experience moments of joy, let’s rejoice in the Savior who came to bring joy to a weary world and fills us with true joy.

If this season is difficult for you, please know that you are not alone…a season of great joy can also have much sorrow. We personally experienced grief during the holidays when Debra’s dad went to Christ a few years ago. But Christmas reminds us that God is not aloof from us, rather He is near to the brokenhearted and close to all who call on Him (Psalm 34:18). The Prince of Peace is Emmanuel, God in flesh (John 1:1-14), offering comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding.

So, from our family to yours, we pray you experience the joy and peace of Jesus Christ this Christmas.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (Romans 15:13).

Merry Christmas!

With love and blessings,

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” — Isaiah 9:6
